Die neue Website von Southamerica-Inside ist online. Wir entwickelten das neue Design auf Basis von Joomla1.5 und Sobi2. Die Website beinhaltet Angebote für Freiwilligenarbeit, Praktika, Work and Travel und Sprachkurse in Lateinamerika. Die Datenbank für die Projekte wurde auf Basis von Sobi2 entwickelt. Jede Detailseite kategorisiert die umfassende Information zu den Projekten und Sprachkursen in eine einer nutzerfreundlichen Tab Struktur, in der die Länderinformationen automatisch geladen werden. Dies war bereits das 4. Projekt, dass wir für Chile Inside realisiert haben, die uns gewählt haben, um ihre Expansionspläne in Lateinamerika zu unterstützen.

For the first phase we developed the site with Joomla 1.5, Sobi (for the business directory), Jomfish (the site is available in Spanish, English and German) and Community Builder (User Management). We used a Rocketheme template that we adjusted to our design needs. We started with about 80 companies in the industries of Renewable Energies, Energy efficiency, Water Treatment, Recycling, Environmental Education,Engineering and Consulting; that we manually entered. We then wrote personal emails to almost all of them, at least those who publish their emails or offer a contact form.

After one week the response is much higher than expected. We have already more than 10 users who are now updating their profiles themselves. Some are even interested to start publishing their own content on the site, a feature that we planned for early next year. The nice thing is that a personal network is starting to develop as well. So I am exchanging emails with Roberto fromPuerto Varas who engineers heating systems with geothermal power, and meet with Ricardo, specialist for air quality analysis, next week. We realised that we are not only both members of the Chilean-German Chamber of Commerce but are also located in the same office building.

Ecoamigable.com is a business network that helps green technology businesses to connect and share experience and knowledge. We are working hard to offer a platform where you can find clean tech business partners, relevant industry news, events, knowledge and expertise. The Business directory now includes more than 3000 Suppliers plus 150 profiles of the most important Chilean mining companies. Suppliers can now opt for a Premium entry with a listing on the home page, up to 20 products or services; and an embedded PDF Report hosted by scribd.

Today we launched the new Dukraft Comercial Limitada Online Product Catalog Website!

Dukraft is a Chilean assets company, leading in the southamerican market in the trading of minerals, raw materials, related machinery and services for the industry. Bentonites, Zeolites, Magnesium, Manganese, Ferroalloys, Ammonium nitrate, Potassium Chloride, Zirconium silicate and many more complete the vast product portfolio.

The web site is based on the award-winning content management system (CMS) Joomla 1.5 and VirtueMart, the leading Joomla E-Commerce solution.

The company online catalog will include an extensive range of products for potential customers. Within a password protected intranet the website provides information for employees and business partners.

Furthermore the Joomla extension Joom!Fish allows to present the new dukraft website in multiple languages.

We are looking forward to working on the upcoming online projects of the other Business areas of Dukraft.

Currently we are working on a Direcmed 2009 Version - The leading Business Directory of the Chilean Health Industry.

The new version will include more suppliers, more hospitals and clinics, and more doctors than ever. Additionaly we are working on a dentist data base upload.

We are happy to announce that we won the tender for the new Intranet of the Mutual de Seguridad IT Department! Together with our design partner company Cron | Publicidad y Diseño we are building a comprehensive Intranet, completly based on Joomla 1.5!

The new Intranet improves collaboration and aims to raise the team spirit at the Mutual de Seguridad IT Department. Interactivar Ltda. also covered the training and transfer of knowledge needs, enabling Mutual de Seguridad employees to easily publish information and documents. This will also allow them to carry out the maintenance of their new Joomla based content management system Intranet themselves.
