Cityen.cl is a Chilean journal for entrepreneurship and business, targeting young professionals, which has become a reference for those who wish to pursue their dreams and transform them into reality. Cityen.cl Online Magazine serves as experiential platform to share the experiences of entrepreneurs and leaders to set an example and inspiration. The City Magazine - Emprendimiento y Negocios, is a project of B & C Communications and Communications in conjunction with Channel 13.

The Challenge:

Create an online version of the leading entrepreneurship print magazine City - Emprendimiento y Negocios. Transfer the print content structure into an online versions. The structure of the digital magazine is category, author and tag based. Provide interactive marketing consulting, especially developing online monetization possibilities. Organise a comprehensive in house training for the team of journalists and the adminstrator.

The Procedure:

From the development of the information architecture, the design to the implementation of the web site, HYR and Interactivar not only met the expectation of ByC Communications, they exceeded them. The use of an open source content management system software allows non-technical staff to manage all web site content and updates independently. The site included features such as a event calendar integrated with a Google Calendar, the ability to perform detailed searches, easy one-button posting of new articles and new directory entries via the same content editor.
